Tragedy struck passengers aboard an Amtrak train Tuesday night when it derailed and killed at least seven people during its trip to New York. To make matters worse, not all of the 240 people on the train have been accounted for yet. Investigators are still gathering information about the accident from passengers, crewmembers, and eyewitnesses as the cause of the accident has yet to be revealed. The derailment took place when the train traveling 106 mph screamed off the tracks just before a curve that has a speed limit at only 50 mph.

All eyes appear to be on the engineer who survived the crash. His name was not released to the public and he also refused to give any kind of statement to law enforcement officers before leaving with an attorney.
