The dark clouds hovering over proud Lakers fans might be gone soon enough, just as long as they make the correct choice in the 2015 NBA Draft. Sadly though, it doesn’t change the fact that the 2015-2016 season could be a farewell tour for one of the greatest players in NBA history. Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak all but confirmed it during an interview on SiriusXM NBA Radio Thursday and Kobe Bryant’s tweet on Friday pretty much drove things home.

If Bryant does call it a career, there’s no denying that he will have fired every bullet in his arsenal. Sure the future hall of famer is making an eye whopping $25 million in the final year of his contract, but there is no denying that he has earned every penny during his 19-year career.
