Why wasn't Lady Gaga nominated for an Emmy with Diane Warren for the song 'Til It Happens To You'?

Even the songwriter Diane Warren couldn't explain that one… Last night, we met with the super talented Diane Warren outside of a restaurant in L.A. She tells us that 'Til It Happens To You' is the first song to ever be nominated for all big 3 — Academy Award nom, Grammy nom, and now the Emmy nom.

But if and when she wins the Emmy, what will the humble songwriter do with it? Yes, she'll take the ass part of the Emmy — not my words.
