Johnny Depp is learning an important lesson that all of us should pay attention to: Don’t sneak your dogs into Australia.

Johnny is down under filming the newest installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, and is being called out by the country’s Agriculture Minister, Barnaby Jones, for allegedly sneaking his pups into Oz on a private plane. Depp has two Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boo, who were not registered for a permit, nor were they put through the necessary quarantine process, which is a major health and agricultural safety issue in Australia. And most countries for that matter.

Joyce has demanded that Depp return his dogs back home on the same plane they came in on, or… get this… THEY WILL BE PUT DOWN!!! That may seem a bit harsh… But those are the rules.

In an interview with ABC Australia, Joyce is quoted as saying, “If we start letting movie stars –- even though they’ve been the sexiest man alive twice — to come into our nation then why don’t we just break the laws for everybody?” So it’s clear that Depp’s status as a global icon will make no difference in the fate of his pups.

So far there has been no comment from Johnny’s camp. However, Courier Mail, an Aussie newspaper, is reporting that Depp’s girlfriend, Amber Heard, is attempting to negotiate a deal with the department.

We’re sure Johnny meant well and just wanted to keep his loved ones by his side, but for the love of Pistol and Boo, please Johnny, get them out of there before it’s too late!
