Remember that so-called “fight of the century” between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao? You should, it was just a few days ago and the price to watch it on pay-per-view was absolutely asinine. The most hyped fight in recent boxing history turned out to be a 12 round dancing affair and it appears that we will be lucky enough to never see a remix of this turd. Shortly after Mayweather won his unanimous decision over Pacquiao, he texted ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and told him that he would be willing to fight Pacquiao next year after he recovers from rotator cuff surgery. It’s amazing how things have changed over the last couple of days now that Mayweather has had the chance to digest everything surrounding the post-fight events.
