If you ask me, Meek Mill & Nicki Minaj took a big risk with this one.

Meek just released the video for his song "All Eyes On You", the 2nd video from his album "Dreams Worth More Than Money" after the collaboration with Future for "Jump Out The Face". We've actually seen a bunch of sneak peek pics posted to the Hip-Hop Power Couple's Instagram in recent weeks, and now we get to finally see the finished result.

The video is Directed by Benny Boom who is known for videos with 50 Cent, Ciara, Lil Wayne, Nas, Nelly, R. Kelly and more. You might even remember Nicki & Wayne's song "High School" which also got a Benny Boom video treatment. Dude loves his mansions doesn't he ? But then again, who doesn't.

Chris Brown is on the hook to give the song that musical mass appeal. But I'm a little concerned for Nicki and Meek after the release of this song. We all know about the curses of the Entertainment Industry. Seems like any time a couple does a movie together, or a music video or whatever together… their relationship ends up doomed. Case in point, Chris Brown's video where he chose to bring in Karrueche to represent his love interest for "Autumn Leaves". Yes, it was a beautiful video, filmed in Hawaii to give it that Asian feel. But it was shortly after the release of this video that the two were no longer able to keep it together, after the announcement of Baby Royalty.

And now with all this Drake Ghostwriter Beef going on, and Meek Mill turning the "Pinkprint Tour" into his own personal bullhorn… it's quite possible that the love you see shared between Nicki and Meek in this video may have a few stumbling blocks ahead. Man, they shouldn't have done this video if you ask me.

But… I have one more thing to say about this. Meek is all upset about Drake and his alleged Ghostwriter… However this song definitely has one Ghostwriter in particular… The Notorious B.I.G. … yezzir that's right. Meek and Nicki's verses clearly take from Biggie's verse on "Notorious Thugs". Did they give Biggie writer's credit ? Considering they lacked the inspiration to come up with completely fresh verses on their own ?? Oh yeah, and how about the fact that the title "All Eyes On You" takes from 2Pac's "All Eyez On Me". Does anybody have any originality in the game anymore ??

Hip-Hop Today… just a bunch of he said she said something that somebody else wrote.
